The frames for these umbrellas are all commercial
grade to increase durability and extends the life of the umbrella. When opened, its held up by
a strong stainless steel spring. Steel ribs and stretchers
are plated with a copper undercoat and then chrome plated for additional rust
resistance. The manufacturer has been producing umbrellas
since 1898, over 100 years!
